Friend -- it's official. With your help, Democrats now control the
Senate!

I was honored to be at the Capitol when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took their
oaths of office and later when Vice President Harris swore in three new
Democratic senators. These incredible victories show that after four long years,
the country is ready for change. I can't wait to work with my new colleagues
Raphael Warnock, Jon Ossoff, and Alex Padilla to deliver results for the
American people. Plus, we have Madame Vice President Kamala Harris presiding
over our chamber -- a historic milestone that is long overdue.

As we begin this new Congress, I am ready to work with my colleagues to boldly
address some of the biggest issues facing our country today -- together we can
strengthen COVID-19 vaccine distribution and testing and help make sure families
and small businesses get the support they need to weather the economic fallout
of this pandemic. We will fight to make health care more affordable and
accessible. We will prioritize real, meaningful legislation to protect our environment and
address the climate crisis. And we will take concrete steps to strengthen and secure our voting rights.

Together we have already accomplished so much, even in the face of extreme
Senate obstruction. Now, with the Senate majority, we can set the agenda and
push to make big strides for our country. Are you with me?
