John —

Yesterday, Donald Trump left the White House for good, and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris—the first woman, first Black, and first Asian-American Vice President—took office, and for the first time in over 10 years, Democrats will control both the House and Senate.

While we should celebrate these amazing accomplishments, we cannot stop fighting for progress— especially here in New York, where we are facing the most consequential election in a generation.

Our campaign is leading the effort to bring real progressive change to New York, but we’re up against a powerful and well-funded political establishment. Will you support our fight for progress by chipping in today? [[link removed]]

I know the high stakes of national politics can seem more exciting than a community board meeting or pothole ordinance. But as someone who has worked in government, I can tell you that more often than not, real change happens at the local level.

Our city government handles many of the services we rely on day-to-day. As we celebrate historic accomplishments at the federal level, we also need to demand equally historic change for New York City.

Join me in fighting for real progress right here in New York, where your impact is the biggest, by making a grassroots donation of any size to our historic campaign today! [[link removed]]

It's time for real change,

Lindsey
