Joe Biden and
Kamala Harris have been sworn in, and I am extremely concerned about
the direction our nation is headed.
Above all, we cannot let up in our
efforts to FIGHT AND WIN for smart, conservative, pro-jobs and
pro-family polices that will build a safer, stronger Georgia for
families throughout the Peach State!
As I said in my State of the
State speech, and wrote you recently, the strong foundation we’ve laid
over the past decade has helped us survive the storm of 2020. It is
what will help us endure the challenges ahead and blaze a new path
forward.
In one GREAT piece of recent jobs news, Bluestem Brands –
which operates multiple national ecommerce retail brands, announced
they will be expanding their distribution center in Putnam County –
more than doubling their presence in our state, and creating more than
130 new full-time jobs and 200 seasonal and part-time jobs in Eatonton.

Our top-notch logistics
infrastructure and workforce training programs are HUGE drivers of the
decisions made by companies to invest in Georgia. We are also fortunate
to have a world-class economic development team to help businesses
create jobs and opportunity.
And these types of jobs wins are the
building blocks of our strong foundation!
Let’s keep up the fight to
keep Georgia the #1 State for Doing Business. Let’s keep choppin’ to
keep Georgia the BEST place in America to live, work, and raise a
family.
- Brian
