Amplify Values in These Emerging Issues

We Can Go Beyond

Yesterday, the nation welcomed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the United States at a time of deep anguish and great promise. President Biden is already indicating that he wants to go beyond by rescinding the Muslim travel ban, proposing immigration reform, introducing Covid-19 response plans, and taking steps to address racial injustice. The Opportunity Agenda issued this statement in response to the new Biden-Harris administration.

Here are additional tools on how to talk about some of these initiatives:

We Can Thrive Together!

In welcoming this new era of possibilities, The Opportunity Agenda has partnered with Amplifier to create “We Can Thrive Together,” a values-based discussion guide with commissioned artwork to inspire a national conversation about economic justice. Already distributed to 15,000 teachers across the country for their online curricula, the guide and art are available for community groups and individuals to welcome this new era. Lesson plans are available at Education Amplifier.
