After four years of misinformation and science denial, we need Dr. Rachel Levine now more than ever before.

Dr. Levine previously served as the Physician General of the state of Pennsylvania and currently serves as the state’s Secretary of Health. Her tireless dedication to improving public health has drawn bipartisan praise and support, including by the state’s GOP-controlled legislature despite being a health official of the Democratic Governor.

She has spearheaded one of our country’s largest states through the opioid crisis and now the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, Joe Biden is nominating her to help oversee his effort to administer 100 million Covid-19 vaccine doses in 100 days — If confirmed, Dr. Levine would be the FIRST transgender federal official ever confirmed by the Senate in our nation’s history.
