Finishing the Job for Bristol Bay
Last year was a roller coaster in the fight to stop Pebble Mine, culminating with a massive, short-term victory at the end of November, when the US Army Corps denied Pebble Mine's permit. But we want to be absolutely clear: the work is far from done. That's why we're part of a coalition of Bristol Bay organizations calling for two things to happen next: a veto from the EPA, and permanent protections for the watersheds of Bristol Bay.
WSC's Dr. Will Atlas Joins Pacific Salmon Commission 
Dr. Atlas joined the international body this January, and he has his work cut out for him. As a member of the Northern Panel, he’ll be interpreting science to guide salmon management in Northern British Columbia and Southeast Alaska.
