John —
When I ran for District Attorney in Queens, New York almost two years ago, I did it because I felt like it was the right thing to do. Because the issues that were important to those I represented as a public defender were so often ignored by prosecutors and other elected officials. I had no idea that my race would earn national attention and inspire others to run for DA in their communities.
Today, progressive prosecutors are running, and winning, all across the country. It’s time to tell their stories and the stories of the communities dedicated to holding them accountable.
That's why tonight, January 21 at 7:30pm EST/4:30pm PST, we’re launching a new digital series. Reimagining Justice: Profiles of Progressive Prosecutors will be an open dialogue among District Attorneys, community leaders and the WFP. And we want you to be a part of the discussion. RSVP and submit your questions here!
