I want to be clear with you about where we're at now that Democrats have gained control of the White House, Senate, and the House.
With redistricting on the horizon, we need to ensure that southeast Pennsylvania stays blue. We know Republicans will do everything they can to obstruct the progress we will make in the coming months, but we cannot allow people to forget who the GOP was loyal to these past four years.
We cannot lose any ground in our fight for progress.
That's why I want to ensure that we are prepared to continue our fight to keep Pennsylvania blue so we can achieve quality health care, follow science, make our communities safe, and support better schools for our kids.
The fact is that PA-05 is not a safe seat -- and it's one of the first districts Republicans will look to flip.
I cannot keep up these critical fights in Pennsylvania on my own. I need my team at my side every step of the way. But I'm growing concerned about our budget -- especially our staffing resources.
My team needs the resources to engage with people throughout southeast PA about the work we're doing, grow our volunteer network, and increase voter turnout. And I need the resources to keep them paid for their investment in our democracy.
