Don't Believe the LIES
According to an article at christianpost.com, Critical Race Theory in the form of the 1619 project is quickly spreading across the nation’s government schools. The 1619 Project essentially teaches America was birthed in and for slavery. In a survey recently conducted by The Heritage Foundation, fifty percent of all parents and seventy percent of school board members said they do not want schools to use the instructional materials rooted in the idea that slavery is the center of the national narrative, while also saying slavery is a tragedy that harmed the nation.

The 1619 Project is teaching falsehoods to students in taxpayer-funded schools. We urge parents with kids in Wisconsin public schools to check to see if this Project is being taught or is planning to be taught in their children’s classrooms. Fortunately, our state offers many educational options for parents and enrollment in most of those programs begins in February. Visit dpi.wi.gov for information.

ACTION ALERTS!
Hearing on Mandatory Vaccines and more TODAY
Late Tuesday, Wisconsin Family Action learned that a public hearing has been scheduled for the following bills:
Senate Bill 4 - Deals with prohibiting certain state and/or local officials from mandating the COVID-19 vaccine
Senate Bill 5 - Deals with prohibiting employers from mandating the COVID-19 vaccine
Senate Bill 6 - Deals with limiting the amount of time a public school can close down in-person instruction
Senate Bill 7 - Deals with prohibiting local health officers from closing or prohibiting gatherings in places of worship
These bills are currently in the Senate’s Committee on Human Services, Children and Families, chaired by Senator André Jacque (R-DePere). The hearing will be held in Room 201 Southeast in the State Capitol beginning at 12 noon TODAY, Thursday, January 21. The overflow room for the hearing will be Room 300 Southeast. Senator Jacque is the author of Senate Bills 4, 5, and 7.

Tell Governor Evers That Wisconsin
Doesn't Need Another Casino
From the Beloit Daily News, "... casino plans in the Stateline Area are still waiting on a final ruling as the Ho-Chunk Nation’s Beloit casino plan remains with Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’ office.
"In Beloit, the Ho-Chunk plan remains on Evers’ desk, who is required to make a two-part ruling within one year of the plan receiving a favorable determination from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The bureau ruled in support of the project on April 16."

Call Governor Evers and tell him to reject the Beloit Casino. Contact phone number is 608-266-1212.
