Dear John,

Yesterday, Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States.

Over the next four years, he will work to fulfill what he has promised to the American people. And that’s the problem.

President Biden’s campaign positions and promises make clear that religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and free speech will be under threat during his administration.

I know you care deeply about protecting freedom in America, John. And you are probably as concerned as I am knowing that if the Biden administration lives up to its campaign promises, your constitutional freedoms will be in jeopardy.

That’s why I wanted to assure you that Alliance Defending Freedom will stand against any attempt by the Biden administration to advance an unconstitutional agenda and provide a winning defense for religious freedom, free speech, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family.

Our message to the Biden administration is simple: When you follow through on your campaign promises, you can be confident that ADF and our allies will stand for freedom and meet you in courtrooms and legislatures across the nation.



If the Biden administration lives up to its campaign promises, your constitutional freedoms will be in jeopardy.

Over the last few years, a storm has been gathering for people of faith who seek to speak, live, and work consistent with their convictions, for parents who want to raise their children according to their beliefs, for babies in the womb, and for your right to speak freely. We’re seeing threats to your religious freedom, free speech, and the sanctity of life that were unimaginable not too long ago.

There is a lot at stake, John.

I have been an attorney for 44 years, with nearly all of that time on the frontlines in the stand for religious freedom, free speech, parental rights, and the sanctity of life. And while I genuinely believe that we are about to enter into the worst situation in my lifetime, I am not afraid.

I walk in confidence because I have seen God deliver. And I have seen our Constitution work to protect Americans from unjust government actions time and time again.

I believe God has called every one of us for such a time as this. And we can be confident that the Lord will guide us through whatever challenges and opportunities lie ahead as we work to defend your God-given and constitutionally protected freedoms.

I can tell you right now that Alliance Defending Freedom will not hesitate to stand for your First Amendment freedoms, John.

With God’s continued provision (John 15:5) and your support, we will be prepared to stand against any attempt to advance an unconstitutional agenda in Congress, state legislatures, and courtrooms across this country—all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary.
