Hi there, friend,
Prior to Democrats drafting the article of impeachment, Representative Jim Clyburn reminded Americans that the pro-Trump rioters who stormed the Capitol brought "the flag of white supremacy" with them.
During his campaign, Donald Trump instructed white supremacists to "stand back and stand by" -- and that is exactly what they did.
In violently breaching the Capitol to contest legitimate election results fueled by record turnout from Black and Brown Americans, Trump's mob reminded us that the threat of white nationalism will outlive Trump's presidency.
We can't ignore that the authorities largely allowed these seditionists to carry out their business, and that if swept under the rug, Trump's white nationalist message will only continue to brew.
That's why today we need to know if our supporters will stand with us. Please, let us know now:
Do you denounce white supremacy?
