That's why I knew I had to act when Donald Trump and the Republican Party sought to restrict LGBTQ+ rights and promote a culture of hatred toward OUR community.
Republicans have cruelly and proudly chipped away at every protection we've gained in the last few decades. But, I'm committed to pulling us out of these dark times and moving us forward again.
Every single person deserves the dignity of equal rights and legal protection from discrimination.

The Trump Administration targeted our community in unprecedented ways. Transgender servicemembers, transgender children in schools, gay couples seeking to adopt children, and LGBTQ+ people seeking healthcare have all become victims of his unconscionable vendetta.
The Trump Administration's actions have horrible and long-lasting consequences -- and we can't let this continue.
The Republican Party is on the wrong side of history, it's time for us to move forward again.
