Inauguration is defined as “setting in motion anything of importance or dignity”. It is not an arrival or destination. It is a beginning - an initiation into a new chapter for our nation. But it is not just President Biden and Vice President Harris that are asked to take the oath. All of us are called to task - to show up every day for the future that we all deserve. It is not enough to get politicians elected. We the people must self govern. We must make our will known and work to see it through.
