I woke up hopeful today, folks. Because today, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were sworn in as our next President and Vice President of the United States.

Donald Trump’s right-wing rioters and Republican enablers may have tried to overthrow our government as they broke into our Capitol on January 6th — but because of folks like you raising your voice at the ballot box, standing up in the face of injustice, and fighting for the future of our country, we can now turn the page and begin to build back better.

I am committed as ever to bringing real change and progress to our communities. And I am so excited to work alongside my new colleague, Senator John Hickenlooper, as we fight for Colorado in the Senate with our new Democratic majority.

But, I have to be honest. Our challenge did not end with electing Joe Biden as President — that’s where it started. We have a long road ahead of us to undo the damage of Trump’s presidency and I need you by my side every step of the way. That’s why I’m asking:
