John, today we let out a sigh of relief and then get right back to work.
Now that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have been sworn in, we have a lot of work ahead of us to put this country on a new course — one that does the most for everyone, beginning with those who have the least.
We’ll be working together in Congress, pushing Joe Biden and growing our movement to pass substantial COVID-19 relief, enact a $15 minimum wage, improve our social safety nets, reform our criminal justice system, close the racial wealth gap and so much more.

The last couple weeks have made it clear that Cori is ready to legislate for the people. In the wake of the white supremecist attempted coup at the Capitol, Cori jumped into action drafting a bill to hold Republican members of Congress who incited the violence responsible and expel them from their seats.
For the first time in over a decade, we have control of the House, Senate and White House. This is our moment — so we have to push as hard as we can to serve everyday, regular people.
We did not win this seat for MO-01 just to sit back and take this seat for granted. Together we’ll work with this new administration to get our communities the help we need — but we have to put in the work to get it done.
