I want to express my sincerest appreciation to everyone who took the time out of their day to complete my 2021 Official Priorities Survey. ([link removed])

As I’m writing this message, we’ve received over 10,000 survey responses and my team is working diligently to read every single one of them and report back to me.

But one thing is already clear - conservatives are not ready to give up on America. And we have a lot of work ahead of us.

Like I said on Fox News ([link removed]) this morning as President Trump boarded Air Force One, the policies put forth under his Administration and the Republican Party led to the strongest economy in almost a century.

Everyone is better off when our government gives them the freedom and opportunity to pursue their own American Dream. And to paraphrase President Reagan, that starts when government gets out of the way.

If Biden wants to continue the prosperity we’ve experienced over the past four years - he should stop with the nonsense policies which were the platform of his campaign.

Destroying American energy independence. Crushing medical innovation. Killing our small businesses by raising the minimum wage. Acquiescing to China on destructive trade deals.

And if Biden has any sense of humility then he would acknowledge that those are terrible policies for America. But I’m not counting on him or a Democrat Congress to reach that conclusion. Which is why I need your help this year to fight back.

I’m preparing to use my position on the House Energy & Commerce Committee to spend the next two years fighting every single one of their radical agenda items. And fighting means persuading.

Persuading the Americans who deep down want to feel self-empowered - who want to own their own destiny. Conservatism is rooted in that principle.

But I can’t do it alone. Conservatives are strong when they’re united.

Tomorrow is a new day and the beginning of the next great conservative movement. I hope you’ll continue to stand with me.
