Joe Biden could be a transformative president, but needs to be pushed by social movements and our fiercest progressive leaders in Congress.

Justice Democrats

John, we want to break down where our heads are after watching Trump’s exit and Biden’s inauguration. Then we’re going to ask for your help to make our vision a reality with a contribution.

Joe Biden could be a transformative president, but needs to be pushed by social movements and our fiercest progressive leaders in Congress. It will take an immense amount of pressure on Biden and the political establishment for him to enact the policies we need to lift people up in this country.

From immigration and climate change, to racial and economic justice, we know Joe Biden is prepared to make at least some improvements. But he’s not always willing to take the bold actions we all need — we know that too.

Biden is getting started with some critically important executive orders — like halting the Keystone XL pipeline, a win for Indigenous communities and our environment. But what’s next? There are other massive pipelines that need to be stopped and urgent action needs to be taken to end the use of fossil fuels.

We must mount pressure on Biden, his allies, and every politician that’s comfortable with the status quo to cancel student debt, ensure everyone has healthcare, reform the racist criminal justice system, halt deportations, and so much more.

We’re going to be there along with Justice Democrats endorsed members of Congress like Cori Bush and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, pressuring Joe Biden every day of his presidency. We need economic, social, racial, immigrant, and environmental justice for the people of this country. We can’t take small steps when we’re facing so many crises.

If you’re ready to support our push to make Joe Biden the transformative president we need, donate $3 today to power our movement’s pressure campaigns.
