This isn't an end-of-quarter stunt or an attempt to spin the press. When we realized we were going to come up short of the resources necessary to grow, I knew we had a choice. So here's what's going on -- no BS: Hitting $1.7 million will determine if our campaign has a future in this race or not.

I know this is no easy task -- some have called it a herculean challenge. But our campaign has seen real momentum since we launched this goal over the weekend, and coming up short is not an option.
