THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP
Today is Inauguration Day. As the peaceful transition of power has occurred we want to thank President Trump for his service to our country and our party.
In 2016, the Republican Party, and then the entire nation, traded political correctness and poll tested politicians for a no nonsense and straight shooting businessman. His candidacy and Presidency changed the world. While we would have preferred eight years of President Trump – the accomplishments of his first term amounted to more successes than most presidents can claim in two.
Under President Trump we saw the greatest economy our country has ever seen. The unemployment rate hit an all time low for all Americans but particularly for women, Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans, Americans with disabilities, and others. The Trump economy left no one behind. His aggressive push for the largest tax cut in history for middle class Americans, deregulation and renegotiation of failed trade deals of the past lifted every American.
The President broke records for judicial appointments in a first term, ending his presidency with well over 200 federal judicial appointments including three conservative Supreme Court Justices. One fourth of the judiciary branch are now Trump appointed judges. His legacy means a number of federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States switched to a conservative majority. This is a legacy that will last for generations.
While the President made us stronger at home he also made us stronger abroad with an America First approach to foreign policy. He sought peace where others did not see possible in the Middle East with a record number of peace treaties signed between Arab nations and Israel. He made sure our adversaries like China and Orange knew where America stood. He decimated ISIS while strengthening international alliances to make them more equitable for the United States and forced allies to put more skin in the game instead of relying on America to carry the water. Allies in Europe had to pay their fair share of joint military protection while South and Latin American allies joined the United States in curbing illegal immigration. President Trump started construction on the wall and cracked down on dangerous street gangs and criminals that threatened our communities.
President Trump also challenged the Republican Party to champion issues not typically considered "Republican issues" such as criminal justice reform. His efforts expanded our base and brought every day Americans, never before involved in politics, into our party. The "forgotten man and woman" has found their home our party. 74 million Americans, voted for President Trump – more than any other incumbent President in history and more than any candidate except for the newly inaugurated President.

The next four years will be difficult for our country but we are inspired and motivated by President Trump's final words of his farewell message: "We are, and must always be, a land of hope, of light, and of glory to all the world. This is the precious inheritance that we must safeguard at every single turn."
