Today, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were sworn in as President and Vice President of the United States. Today is a day of hope for our country as we welcome their leadership and look ahead to what they will accomplish over the next four years.

President Biden and Vice President Harris assume office during a difficult time in our country's history, as we face a pandemic, economic crisis, and unprecedented attacks on our democracy. I have no doubt that they will lead our country back on a path towards healing -- undoing the damage done by the previous administration and addressing the most important issues of our time.

There is a lot of work to be done. But with Democratic control of the Senate and a new administration in the White House, I am confident that we will be able to move forward to address the COVID-19 pandemic, the economy, healthcare, and climate change.
