It feels, even for a brief moment, that order has been restored. President Joe Biden. Vice President Kamala Harris. As President Biden said in his Inaugural Address, “Democracy has prevailed” and this is truly “America’s Day.”

Later today, President Biden will get to work, immediately signing Executive Orders focused on combating COVID-19, fighting climate change, easing the burden of student loans, tackling discrimination and systemic racism, and restoring America’s place in the world. It is just a start.

President Biden and Vice President Harris have enormous challenges in front of them, which is why we need to have their backs. Today, we celebrate. Tomorrow we get to work.
