Today is a good day for our democracy. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have been inaugurated, and now, we've got work to do.
I am thrilled to have allies in the White House as we tackle the pressing issues of our time like ensuring states have what they need to roll out vaccines, repairing our health care systems, finding solutions to the climate crisis, and advocating for social, economic, and environmental justice.
While we celebrate today, it is clear the progress we want to make will take time as we heal from the damage of the Trump-era, but I am confident and filled with hope for the future.
