America is a place where anything is possible. Though the last two weeks showed us that even the unthinkable can happen, today’s triumph of democracy is proof that it's ultimately up to us to define those possibilities. 

Today’s inauguration of a new president is a reminder not only of the possibilities ahead of us – but also of our responsibilities. 

Each of us has a role to play in making our Union more perfect – and it’s a task that demands something from all of us.

I’m ready to do my part – to work with you, my colleagues in Congress, and with President Joe Biden to improve the lives of every Arizonan: to make our economy work for every family, modernize our immigration laws and pass the Dream Act, and end this tragic pandemic once and for all. 

I hope you are too.
