Today is the day we've worked towards for four years -- Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were inaugurated as the 46th president and 49th vice president of the United States. This historic day marks a new beginning for our country.
Over 81 million people across the country cast their votes for a better future, and in spite of great adversity, our democracy has held strong. While we celebrate, we can't forget that today wouldn't be possible without the dedication of the organizers and volunteers who put in years of hard work to make this day a reality.
I'm ready to get to work with President Biden and Vice President Harris to find solutions to our nation's most pressing problems and deliver results for hard working families.
We have our work cut out for us to end the COVID-19 pandemic, make health care more affordable, and get our economy back on track. I know that President Biden and Vice President Harris are the leaders to get the job done.
