Special interests and lobbyists just spent $2 million on ads targeting Minnesota U.S. Senator Tina Smith -- and Election Day is still more than a year away.

Tina told the St. Paul Pioneer Press, "The ads were designed to intimidate me, and I'm not going to be intimidated."

There's no telling what President Trump and his corporate allies will do or spend when faced with a fearless Democrat like Tina who will always put families first.

Tina Smith won a tough special election last year in Minnesota -- a state President Trump lost by just 1.5% in 2016.

Since then, she's stood up for affordable health care for all, fought to reform our campaign finance laws, and has been a steadfast advocate for farmers and rural communities. She's also working to reduce prescription drug prices and leading a bipartisan effort to lower the cost of insulin so that no one has to choose between paying for medicine or food.

Now she's already back up for re-election, and we can't win a new Democratic majority in the Senate without her. That's why special interests are already spending a fortune against her.

We can't let Tina stand alone. Show the opposition that you have her back by chipping in before Monday at midnight.
