I'm proud to stand with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on this historic day, and I couldn't be more excited to partner with them to deliver the real progress that the American people deserve.

My first term in Congress was a strange one, to put it nicely. But I am hopeful that after a first term that was historic for all the wrong reasons, we now might have one that is historic for all the right reasons under Joe and Kamala's leadership.
