Joe Biden will be sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts, and Justice Sonia Sotomayor will swear in Kamala Harris, who will make history as the first woman vice president in U.S. history. She is also the first African American, first South Asian, first Indian Tamil American and the first Caribbean American to hold the office.
