On this day in 2017, Donald Trump is inaugurated in the culmination of his extraordinary rise to power over a tumultuous election year, Donald John Trump is inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States. We miss him already. Saying any more than that might get us sent to a re-education camp. Even before Joe Biden is sworn into office, his supporters are calling for radical surveillance and re-education of Trump supporters. So much for unity.
