Today, the words healing and history come to the forefront of my mind.

This afternoon, Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States – a President elected with the most votes in our nation’s history. Kamala Harris will become the first woman – and first person of color – as Vice President.

After four years of failed Republican leadership – we finally have an administration that will UNITE us.

Americans have suffered long enough under a President who mishandled COVID, incited violence and divided the nation. The path to healing begins today and will require each of us to do our part.
