Hi Friend,
The pandemic has shed light on the ugly truth that students often come last in our government-run education system.

Nearly a year into the pandemic, far too many public schools still are not offering the in-person learning options that so many students desperately need. And while public schools are fighting to stay closed, private schools are fighting state regulations to stay open.

Continued school closures are harming children. This is especially true for students in public schools run by teachers unions that are beholden to bureaucrats, rather than students.

Because we fund systems rather than students or families directly, districts and education bureaucrats are able to ignore the voices of millions of American families while keeping their paychecks.

Aside from the neurological and learning issues associated with sitting in front of a small screen for hours, many young children also risk emotional and social setbacks and struggles with shoddily-implemented all-online education.

Countless studies show that public school students who have been denied access to in-person learning are struggling and falling further and further behind.

We want to hear from YOU about your own experience with pandemic learning. IWF wants to share the stories being ignored by the education system and mainstream media.
