Together, this team helped elect Democrats like Elizabeth across the country. And tomorrow's Inauguration is an opportunity to celebrate all that we have accomplished.
But our work is far from over. Tackling the pandemic and the economic crisis in the short term and rebuilding our economy in the long term is going to take real work and real resources.
So we're not slowing down one bit. Warren Democrats will keep fighting in the weeks and months ahead to pave a path forward that works for everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected.
Even after Trump's exit from the White House, we'll still be up against a Republican party that emboldened him every step of the way. And once he leaves office, power-hungry politicians will be looking to capitalize on the moment by taking Trump's hateful vision one step further.
We cannot — and will not — let that happen.
Elizabeth has plans to build on what we accomplished last November, keep growing our grassroots movement, and invest in year-round organizing to defeat Republicans at every level of government and elect Democrats who will fight for working people.
But all of that is only possible with the support of a powerful grassroots movement.
