Hey there,
Bumping Pete’s email below. Our campaign has a mandate to always be transparent about our fundraising goals, and we think Pete made the best case for why we’re trying to raise $1.5 million before the end of the third quarter. We didn’t want you to miss it, so take a read below and then chip in to hit this goal: [link removed]
Phase Three is all about bringing this campaign’s message everywhere, in anyway we can, to every corner -- and the middle -- of this country. We’re so grateful to have you by our side to help make it all happen.

Subject: Q3 for Phase Three
Hey there!
I’m running for president because our country is running out of time. As a country, we’re at a make-or-break moment, and we need solutions bold enough to meet our greatest challenges and big enough to bring Americans together to get it done.
We’re building a campaign that can win -- that can deliver on that vision. The first votes will be cast in just four months. From there, the primaries unfold rapidly. We have only a little more time to prepare.
That’s why we flipped the switch on Phase Three, the grassroots organizing season of our campaign. We also asked for your help to fund it, and you came through in a big, big way. We raised more than $750,000 in a single day.
Now, with the end of the quarter upon us, we’re aiming higher. This is Quarter Three to fund Phase Three. When we did the math, here’s the number we landed on: $1.5 million.
It’s a lot, I know. But it’s what we need to hit to show strength when the numbers are made public and analyzed in the media. Practically, it’ll go a long way toward funding our organizers in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina. These races are won on the ground, and we need to make sure our teams have everything they need.
If we’re going to make it, we will need everyone to chip in and give what they can. That’s how we’ll win the nomination -- together and for one another. It’s your support that makes everything we do in this campaign possible, and I’m grateful for all of it: [link removed]
To participate in politics is to be hopeful. And I can tell you that every day of this campaign, I’ve grown more hopeful. It’s the sum of the stories you’ve shared with me. It’s the hard work of volunteers and organizers on the ground who are adopting communities as their own -- communities that are, in turn, adopting them.
We want to bring a message of hope to more places -- on the ground, online, over the air. Where people are, this campaign will go. We’ll bring a message of hope. We’ll take with us a vision that sets out to solve our greatest problems with new ideas, ones bold enough to meet our challenges and big enough to bring people together to get them done.
To do all this, it’s critical we hit the goals we set for ourselves. We need to hope, yes, but also do the work of bringing those hopes to life. With your support, I know we can do this. That’s why I’m asking for your help -- can you help us by donating today, before the end of the quarter? [link removed]
You’ll hear from more of the team about this goal -- and thanks in advance for your patience as they write with reminders and updates as the deadline nears. We have five days to hit it -- and these next five days will influence what we do over the coming months. We can meet this moment, so long as we meet it with urgency and unity.
Pete
