"The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January."
-- U.S. Constitution, 20th Amendment
John,
At noon tomorrow, Trump's presidency is officially, finally OVER.
Joe Biden's victory was a hard-fought win, but our democracy and our Constitution held strong. We beat Trump, and now we're ready to build back better with President Biden.
But folks, we still have a lot of work ahead. Even after the Capitol riots, the majority of House Republicans -- 139 of them -- chose to embrace Trump and unsuccessfully voted to overturn our election.
It has never been more crucial that we hold the House.
Yet our Democratic House Majority is critically thin. We need to support our Democratic incumbents running for re-election and every Democrat challenging a pro-Trump Republican -- it's the best way to protect our democracy from Trumpism.
2022 is also Trump's first chance to remain relevant. He's going to bet everything on his ability to flip the House red.
On the final day of Trump's disastrous presidency, will you chip in to help us hold the House and make sure we can keep Trump's influence out of Washington in the years to come?
