It was just announced that President-elect Biden plans to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline on his first day in office - and with it will go thousands of good paying American energy jobs.
This is not about protecting the environment. It is only about appeasing Biden’s radical base.
The next two years will be one hard fought battle after another. The Democrat majority will try everything to implement the Green New Deal, Medicare For All, Venezuelan-style censorship, and every other socialist policy you can imagine.
Fortunately, my new position on the House Energy & Commerce Committee puts me front and center in these policy debates. This committee has the broadest jurisdiction of any committee in the House of Representatives - with oversight of everything from health care and energy policy to telecommunications and interstate and foreign commerce.
