Hello Community,
I’ve been thinking about you. I hope you are staying healthy, safe, and connected.
I want to make sure that our BIPOC-led organizations know about this year’s Giving Project Grant opportunity. Headwaters offers these general operating grants to support the systems change work BIPOC organizations lead every day across the state. We’re now accepting applications online through our grant portal.
Program staff have scheduled two Info Sessions for applicants to learn about the grant and ask questions. Please RSVP for the one that best fits your schedule today: January 26 at 6 p.m. and February 12 at Noon. Both take place on Zoom, and you will get a link with your confirmation email.
A few important things to note: this grant opportunity is open to current and past Headwaters grantees as well as organizations that are totally new to Headwaters. Organizations can apply even if they have a current application under consideration for The Transformation Fund
The Giving Project Grant application deadline is 5 p.m. Central on Thursday, February 18. If you have Giving Project specific questions, please let Program Director Allison Johnson Heist (612-400-6264) know. If you find that you need technical help with the grant portal, please connect with Program Manager Ray Martinez, or 612-400-6262.
I hope you'll help us spread the news about this opportunity. As always, thank you for being a part of this work with us.
In Solidarity,
President Maria De La Cruz, JD
