Dear John,
Tomorrow, Joe Biden will officially take office as President of the United States. While he begins working to repair the damage wrought by Trump’s presidency, he also must make bold moves to tackle the myriad of injustices at the core of our rigged system.
Even with control of the Senate, Democrats’ slim majority means that Republicans can still obstruct a progressive policy agenda at every turn.
But this cannot mean that the Biden administration gives up on enacting the policies we need.

Cancel student loan debt. Raise the minimum wage. Lower drug prices. Legalize cannabis. Rejoin the Paris Agreement. End the death penalty. Crack down on monopolies. Expand immigration.
These are all things Biden can do on day one of his presidency via executive order.
He can and must wield his presidential powers through executive orders and regulations. The problems America is facing demand it.
Thanks for watching,
