Hello —

Tomorrow, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn in as the President and Vice President of the United States.

Our nation’s record of a peaceful transition of power is one of the brightest elements of our democracy. But the events of this month have proven that our sacred democracy is not invincible — it too can be challenged and attacked.

After years of Donald Trump fanning the flames of hatred and division, it’s finally time to begin the difficult work to undo the damage his administration and his enablers have done to our democracy and move our country forward.

I’m ready to get to work with the incoming administration on the issues that matter most. And, as I’m sure you know, there’s a lot to be done — like expanding quality, affordable health care, giving families the support they need during this unprecedented public health and economic crisis, and holding Trump accountable for inciting violence in the U.S. Capitol.

But, as always, my number one priority is ensuring Washington is working for folks like you. I know Joe and Kamala share that same commitment. That’s why I’m reaching out today because if we’re going to accomplish all of these things and more, we’ll need your input every step of the way.

Before Joe and Kamala are sworn in at tomorrow’s inauguration, I’m asking you to take my short survey and let me know what your top priorities are for the first 100 days of the Biden-Harris administration: [[link removed]]

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with me so I can best fight for you and your family in Washington. I’m truly looking forward to reading your responses.

I’ll be in touch again soon.
