Dear WisDems supporter,

We’ve made it—today is the final full day of the Trump administration. President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris will be inaugurated tomorrow. This will mark the beginning of a new administration and a new chapter for our country.

It’s *good* news...the type that’s too rare these days.

Speaking of good news, there’s something else I want to share with you (keep reading).

After the Presidential election, WisDems set an ambitious goal to reach 1,500 new monthly donors by the end of the year. We emailed you with different reasons you should give—re-elect Governor Evers, defeat Ron Johnson, invest in year-round organizing, build strong state parties. Our Chair, Ben Wikler, posted long threads on Twitter breaking down our party’s theory of change. We created graphics and videos, and sent texts.

We knew that we needed to reach this goal in order to start 2021 from a place of strength, ready to transform Wisconsin into the strong blue wall we know it can be.

And guess what? Because of YOU, we hit our year-end fundraising goal!!!

Because of this, we’ve been able to hit the ground running in 2021.

Republican Senator Ron Johnson incited violent insurrection in DC, and we’re not letting him get away with it. The WisDems are demanding that he immediately resign and we’ve launched a six-figure ad buy to let Wisconsin voters know about his complicity in Trump’s violence.

And Johnson isn’t alone. Every Republican Member of Congress from Wisconsin voted against holding Trump accountable, including Mike Gallagher, who’ll talk to reporters about Trump’s disgraceful conduct and then do nothing. He’s trying to have it both ways and he’s putting politics above Wisconsinites. That’s why we’ve already launched another ad letting Wisconsin voters know exactly who Mike Gallagher is.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for continuing to be a part of this movement to strengthen democracy in Wisconsin and fight for a progressive agenda, and for helping us hit our 2020 goal.
