One of Trump's largest Silicon Valley donors, Doug Leone, is finally renouncing his support for Trump after the MAGA attack on the Capitol.
While some of Trump's high dollar donors are backing out at the midnight hour to save face, we know that he still has many financial supporters who will continue bankrolling both him and the extremists he has enabled. Multiple tech giants are refusing to comment on the future of their financial support for Trump -- a devastating sign that they're not done backing the GOP yet.
We'll be honest. It'll be hard to overcome the dark money machine that the GOP has assembled, but we know it's possible -- the will of many CAN defeat the interests of a few. We saw the immense power of grassroots fundraising in action this past election cycle in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, and we know we can do it again.
Republican candidates are in no danger of running out of dark money, and with so many critical issues for our country on the line, we MUST be able to compete. The 147 Republicans in Congress who refused to certify the election and the extremist conservatives who are planning to run in this election cycle won't face any shortage of big donor financial support. To beat them, we need to get an urgent head start on fundraising now -- and unfortunately, we're already falling behind.
