For the past three years, Dream Corps JUSTICE’s Dignity for Incarcerated Women Campaign — led by formerly incarcerated women — has successfully changed policies in 12 states and positively impacted the conditions for over 30,000 incarcerated women. As we move into the 2021 legislative session, Dream Corps JUSTICE remains committed to changing conditions of confinement for women who are incarcerated in state and federal facilities across the country.
One of the next states on our quest to restore dignity to women behind bars is in Pennsylvania — where we have been working with an incredible coalition of activists, organizations, and state lawmakers. With the new legislative session kicking off this week, we wanted to share our plan with leaders like you.
