The Southern Strategy is dedicated to the engagement of new and unlikely voters, young, and women voters — voters at the heart of the emerging Democratic coalition across the South and in states and districts where the greatest barrier to electoral success is sufficient and sustained financial investment. Did you hear the news, friend?

Jaime Harrison is set to be the next Chair of the DNC, and we could not be more excited!

Harrison selected as Biden’s DNC Chair

“His ascension to the top of the DNC is a sign of the growing clout of the South in the Democratic Party, which is likely to expand further after the Georgia elections of Sens.-elect Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff” — Politico

In his historic bid against Lindsey Graham, Jaime proved to the country his ability to lead and demonstrated his amazing organizing skills — shattering fundraising records and building a strong national following. As a previous state chair and associate chair of the DNC, Jaime has years of experience organizing at a large level and will do what it takes to get Democrats on track to win big in 2022 and beyond!

Here at The Southern Strategy, we are excited for Jaime’s leadership, but we want to know where you stand.

Do you think this is a step in the right direction for the DNC?
YES
NO
We know as Chair, Jaime will put all the tools in his arsenal to good use and lead the Democrats to new heights — supporting state parties, organizing local elections, and setting the framework for our strategy post-Trump.

Aside from his accomplishments, Jaime’s leadership also represents a win for the South — demonstrating the power and future of the Democratic Party here. We are so excited to see the progress he will make — for the South and the country as a whole — at the helm of the Democratic Party.

Thank you for your support,

The Southern Strategy
