Tomorrow, we begin a new chapter in our country with the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And not a moment too soon. It has been a long and difficult four years under President Donald Trump.

Our democracy was pushed to the brink in ways we never imagined. Donald Trump weakened our institutions, undermined faith in our democratic elections, and worked overtime to feed the flames of hate and division.

Among other things, the history books will remember him for his role in the unprecedented attack on the U.S. Capitol, his abject failure to lead during a historic pandemic which killed thousands of Americans, and as the only president to be impeached twice.

The good news is that we are turning this dark page and it is time to look forward to healing, rebuilding, and lifting up our country, even as we take measures to hold this president and his enablers accountable and strengthen our democracy to ensure this doesn't happen again.

At this historic moment, I want to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts here >>

Thanks to the hard work of millions of Americans across the country organizing for change, a new administration and Democratic majorities in both the House and Senate will be in place tomorrow.

We have a lot of work ahead of us to deliver the change that we organized so hard for.

Thank you for taking a few moments to share your thoughts on our country's priorities for the weeks and months ahead >>
