People have been saying for a while that this election was bound to get ugly, but that’s not true of the campaign we’ve seen from the NDP.

Instead, we’ve relied on the strength of our ideas, and the courage and grace of our incredible leader, Jagmeet Singh.

I’m so very proud of this campaign, and supporters from every corner of the country are feeling inspired, too, which is probably why a core group of supporters stepped up this week to match every donation, dollar-for-dollar.

With only 25 days to go until Canadians head to the polls, I’m thinking about how much is at stake this election, and just how important the opportunity we have in this moment is.

I’ve been told that we still have a ways to go before we hit out $200,000 goal – but right now is the ideal time to chip in and help us double our campaign energy on the ground and online. The bottom line is this – we need a leader and a government that puts people and our planet first. One that works alongside everyday Canadians to build a country of greater equality, justice, and opportunity – one that defends our earth and protects the life that lives on it.
