I’m asking you to sign my petition and call on my Senate colleagues to vote to convict President Trump. If you would like to sign, add your name here.

President Trump actively encouraged a violent attack on our Capitol building led by neo-Nazis and right-wing extremists. The Cabinet refused to invoke the 25th Amendment so the House of Representatives had no choice but to impeach him. Now, it’s time for the Senate to finish the job.

Even if the Senate does not reconvene until after Biden’s inauguration, we can still vote to convict him and prevent him from ever holding federal office again.

And it’s incredibly important that we do so. Otherwise Trump will use a potential run in 2024 as a way to keep himself and his extremist, anti-democratic platform in the spotlight. We can’t let that happen.
