Capitol without help from insiders on the Capitol Police force.

They took selfies with white rioters spewing hate.

They willingly directed the white mob to the offices of Democrat leaders.

And when the white rioters were done wreaking havoc, Capitol Police
officers gently escorted them down the Capitol steps.

There are heroes in the Capitol Police force, like the Black officer who
led the white mob away from the Senate floor.

But last week laid bare the cold truth that white supremacists have
infiltrated the US Capitol Police.

investigation into the white supremacist infiltration of the Capitol
Police.

Investigating the actions of individual officers won’t be enough. Neither
is throwing more money at the already bloated $460 million Capitol Police
budget.

This is a systemic issue, and a full investigation of the police force is
needed.

It’s time we as a country acknowledge that healing can’t happen without
accountability. And that accountability must include finding out what role
white supremacy played in the decision not to better protect the Capitol
from the angry white mob.
