Things are changing, John!

From city councils and state capitals all the way to Congress and the White House, a record number of New American, BIPOC, millennial, Gen Z, and LGBTQIA+ folks are running — and winning — elected office! Over the past four years, #PeopleLikeUs have shaken up politics as usual and are making our democracy work for all people, not just the pale, stale, and male establishment.

But we still have a long way to go. From growing white nationalism and continued systemic racism to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the needs of our communities have never been more urgent. We need you to run and become the leader your community has been waiting for.

Today, in honor of National Run for Office Day, we've partnered with Run for Something to ask YOU to commit to run for office. We know that you can use your authentic New American story and lived experiences to find solutions to the issues our country and communities are facing.
