We are all still reeling from the Trump-inspired violence of the last week. There can be no justification, no excuse, and no rationalization for the actions we witnessed in our nation's capital last Wednesday.

Just hours before violent insurrectionists and white supremacists forced their way into the Capitol, the now twice-impeached President and his allies encouraged and rallied with these extremists. Make no mistake: President Trump and his enablers bear responsibility for the deadly violence that resulted. These gross attacks on our democracy warrant decisive action.

Sign on now to demand that those responsible own up to their seditious actions and resign immediately. We are looking ahead to a government that is wholly focused on serving and delivering to and for the American people. <[link removed]>

Donald Trump and his cult-like following have furthered lies and misinformation and purposely incited anger and frustration to stoke violence in America. Last week, we saw the dangerous impact of those lies... windows of the Capitol were smashed... congressional offices invaded... domestic insurrectionists waved Confederate flags in our most sacred halls of power... and six people are dead, including a Capitol Police Officer who was bludgeoned to death.
