This is the weakest, most disastrous,
most hated Tory government in living memory.
Boris Johnson is a criminal, racist,
establishment thug. He heads a far right government that detests the
labour movement and all it stands for.
The coming election will give us a chance
to elect an anti-austerity government more radical than any that has
stood before the electorate.
This is the moment to drive the Tories
from office.
This coming Sunday the beleaguered and
besieged Tory party will hold its annual conference in Manchester. But
the leaders of that party, and many of its MPs, will barely be able to
attend because the government is hanging by a thread in
Westminster.
If there was ever a moment for mass
protest on the streets, this is it.
The Tories must be shut down, locked out,
and kicked out of office.
The vast majority of people in this
country are sick to death of the lying, corrupt, corporate apologists
that the Tory party represents.
It’s up to all of us to play our part.
The Tories will not simply disappear if we remain passive
observers.
And a new anti-austerity government won’t survive
without our active support.
So get on the coaches, get on the train,
get in the car and make your way to Manchester this Sunday 29
September
Join the demonstration, shut down the
Tories, and end austerity now.
Can you help?
The People's Assembly is a grassroots organisation which
is supported by many trade unions, campaigns and local networks, as
well as many individuals. But we need your help. It costs money to
organise events, meetings, demonstrations and campaigns. Unlike those
who are enforcing austerity, we do not have wealthy businessmen
backers. We rely on donations from our supporters. Over the past few
months we have organised or supported campaigns over the NHS, closure
of libraries, housing and in support of trade union rights. We held a
demonstration in early January calling for a general
election.
We need to step up our campaigning and help give a
voice to those trying to stop library closures, end Universal Credit,
defend the NHS and provide a better future for our children.
See you in Manchester!!
