Dear supporter,

2020 forced the world to operate in unfamiliar ways.  As an Asian woman who personally experienced harassment at the beginning of the pandemic, this work is deeply personal.

It’s an honor to step up as board chair of Hollaback! this year. I remain in awe of how quickly Hollaback! adapted to deliver its most impactful year to date.

As a board member for the past 7 years, I have personally witnessed the organization taking deliberate, steady steps towards this moment.   Behind the successful launch of Stand Up Against Street Harassment with L'Oreal are countless planning and training sessions across global time zones.  Collaboration with established partners like Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC started with a panel I spoke on that they hosted years ago -- and resulted in new Bystander Intervention trainings to specifically address a spike in anti-Asian/American harassment during the pandemic.  Those trainings trained 14,000 people last year, and counting.

We are incredibly lucky to connect with passionate leaders from different sectors committed to ending harassment in all forms, and I am beyond thrilled to welcome our largest group of board members to build our vision of a world without harassment.

Please join me in welcoming Hollaback!’s newest board members:
