Donald Trump's popularity has grown precisely because he's exercised a brand of hypermasculinity that appealed to too many Americans -- including the countless white women who voted for him.
 
After the Capitol attacks, Trump's press secretary went on to defend the president as “the most masculine person to ever hold the White House.” And now, analysts expect the American people may overlook the riots as a ‘foolish' exercise of “right-wing manhood.”
